Grease

Danny Zuko, leader of the greaser gang “T-Birds” of Rydell High, falls in love with a goody two shoes girl named Sandy Olsen over the summer. They thought she’d be leaving and never see each other again, but to their luck…she begins to attend Rydell High. She is immediately accepted into the group “Pink Ladies” and shortly Danny and her re-meet. Danny has seemed to have changed but in the hopes of winning Sandy back, he changes into the loving, jock Danny Zuko that Sandy met during the summer permanently.

The Break Up

Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston make the perfect match in The Break Up! Gary (Vince Vaughn) and Brooke (Jennifer Aniston) are a mismatched couple who, after having a very large fight over something very trivial, have to decide if their relationship is worth saving or if the should just break up. Despite having many comedic moments, The Break up courageously and truthfully explores the pain one experiences when one must decide to stay or break up.

Closer

Closer depicts four people, otherwise with very little in common, unraveling and weaving a tapestry of complex romantic interactions with each other. Jealousy, love, obsession, affection and lust all take center stage, artfully showing different facets of each character’s motivations and personality, while offering the viewer different viewpoints of the same situation. An excellent movie for those wanting to see their own past relationships in a different light.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Kate Winslet and Jim Carey paired up for this highly unusual film about relationship loss, and what lengths we’ll go to erase past emotional trauma. Both actors excel in this film as they demonstrate the theoretical possibility of erasing select relationship-related memories through an experimental medical treatment.

High Fidelity

A list of top break-up movies wouldn’t be complete without the movie that lists the “top five breakups of all time”, as John Cusack’s character (Rob Gordon) does. The movie follows the most recent breakup of Gordon’s, peaking with his attempts to determine just why all of his major relationship break-ups occurred in the first place. This movie definitely falls into the comedy category, but still offers a large dose of reflective drama as a balance.

If you are a fresh break up and would like to get back with your ex, then watch the movies above, it will relieve you from some pain which is the first step to win back your ex.

Warning: Though it may be considered comedy, it may even aggravate some of your pain after break up. So, handle it with care.
