Hub on Canal

The Hub on Canal presents reveals and workshops at 132 and 120 Canal St. in New Smyrna Seashore.

A new workshop Painting with Morris Wiener will satisfy from 10 a.m. to midday Monday, Aug. 2. College students will understand the principles of oil portray and leave the workshop with their individual development. No mineral spirits will be utilized. The price is $50 for members and $60 for non-members.

Kate Cumiskey has released her second poetry collection, focusing on what we choose as individuals and what we let go. A long-time ACA member and seven-time associate artist, Ms. Cumiskey worked with Pulitzer Prize winning poet Carolyn Kizer; Florida’s Poet Laureate Peter Meinke; Nick Flynn; and Robert Creeley, one of the most influential American poets, making ACA the perfect choice for the launch of her fourth book.

The public is invited to attend the book launch reading at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 17, in the Black Box Theater of the Doris Leeper Studio Complex, 1414 Art Center Ave. The event is free and open to the public For a reservation, email katecumiskey@gmail.com.

Nolan and Snyder By no means Give Each individual Other Notes Following Screenings
