Waterworks show usually takes viewers past the surface area – Salisbury Submit

SALISBURY — Waterworks Visual Arts Heart in Salisbury will existing Outside of the Surface area, a new exhibition opening Monday, Sept. 13. Waterworks invites all people to the opening reception and meet up with the artists event from 5:30-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, at 123 E. Liberty Avenue. Outside of the Surface involves 3 autonomous exhibits by 4 North Carolina artists: Sacred Areas 360, showcasing performs by Will James It is in the Genes: A Mother and Daughter Clearly show, showcasing will work by Phyllis Steimel and her daughter Beth Barger, and The Bodyweight of All That Is, that includes operates by Liz McKay. Both of those James and mom-daughter painters Steimel and Barger, credit their artistic skills as inherited items. James grew up in a family appreciative of artwork. His father was also an newbie photographer
