‘Yard art’ in North Port draws in onlookers | News

NORTH PORT — A person person’s trash can grow to be another’s treasure, and North Port resident Kathy Wyatt has demonstrated that to be true.

Wyatt has been decorating her lawn with recycled art due to the fact she moved below almost 17 decades ago.

All those who journey on Sumter Boulevard east of Tamiami Path get a visible handle each individual day. Wyatt’s yard is stuffed with ornamental artwork pieces that she’s picked up more than the several years. And the greatest element is, it has cost her pretty little.

Each morning she rides her bicycle in search of treasures that folks no for a longer period need to have or want.

“Most of it I just picked up on the side of the road,” Wyatt mentioned. “People throw away matters that have price. Occasionally they just need to be painted or cleaned up a bit.”
