“As I walked down to the river that night, I remember catching a glimpse of fog rolling about the One Environment Trade Heart,” the photographer Tarik Tosun tells me. “And I remember pondering, ‘Wow, this is heading to be definitely cool.’” A program engineer by day, Tosun life in Brooklyn Heights in New York, just a small distance from Brooklyn Bridge Park. In the course of the pandemic and its aftermath, he took lots of walks alongside the waterfront. On one of those people silent evenings, the mist came and engulfed the metropolis, transforming its acquainted architecture into anything straight from a science-fiction film.
