Jamestown Arts Heart announces Open Home Saturday, Sept. 11

JAMESTOWN, RI — The Jamestown Arts Centre will keep an Open up Residence on Saturday, September 11 from 10 am – 3 pm. A free, spouse and children function welcomes all ages to take a look at the JAC studios, understand about Arts Training plans, fulfill JAC instructors and workers, and make one thing unique throughout fingers-on demonstrations. 

People will get a sneak peek at the curriculum for academic courses for Drop together with ceramics, printmaking and images and fulfill some of the instructors including Casey Weibust, Teddy Trocki-Ryba, Carol Chew, and Will Simons. 

“It’s a terrific way to see what lessons at the JAC are like and try your hand at some of the jobs we’ll offer in the different studios throughout the day,” states Seamus Hames, Education and learning Director at the JAC.

Exhibiting artist Allison Paskche will also supply an art-producing exercise in the gallery relevant

Cudahy’s ‘Cadillac House’ is in contrast to any other home you’ve observed ahead of

CUDAHY — Some individuals beautify their household for Christmas. Other folks adorn for Halloween. Rick Serocki decorates his Cudahy household for each day.

“I take pleasure in it. Usually appreciated art in faculty, all the other topics I was not far too ridiculous about,” Serocki reported.

He is the happy proprietor of the ‘Cadillac House’ on 4531 S. Lake Dr. in Cudahy. Serocki takes garden artwork to the excessive. He has dozens of large statues in his entrance and yard. Some of them he ordered and other folks he welded himself. He has dinosaurs, a Chili’s chili pepper, aged tractors, metal figures using bikes, the McDonalds Hamburgler, KFC’s Colonel Sanders, a Big Boy statue, and of training course the namesake of the dwelling, a 1955 Cadillac that looks like it is staying melted into the floor.
