Narratio Fellows Find out the Art of Storytelling By means of Poetry and Photography

Nineteen refugee youths from Central New York not long ago wrapped up a four-week intense storytelling and management workshop on the University campus and at the North Aspect Mastering Heart in the metropolis of Syracuse. It marked a milestone for the Narratio Fellowship, as it was the program’s premier course to date.

Released in 2019 by Brice Nordquist, associate professor of writing studies, rhetoric and composition and Dean’s Professor of Local community Engagement in the Higher education of Arts and Sciences (A&S), and Iraqi-American author, poet and social entrepreneur Ahmed Badr, the Narratio Fellowship delivers Syracuse-region refugee youth with options to examine and signify a complete array of their individual histories and encounters by way of inventive expression. By sharing their tales in a way that is genuine and significant to them, fellows
