Expensive Sun Spots: The Village Scrappers of Livermore is holding a Quilters’ Lawn Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at 176 Park St. in Livermore Falls. It’s the household on the corner of Routes 17 and 133. Rain day is July 18.

There will be all varieties of material and notions alongside with other craft products. Material will be marketed for $2 per garden, excess fat quarters will be 50 cents just about every or 3 for $1.

Upcoming Makers Industry event is July 1, featuring art, audio and food stuff on the river stroll in downtown Granite Falls

GRANITE FALLS Audio, art, food and a rolling river are all portion of the scene for the month-to-month Makers Current market coming up Thursday, July 1, in downtown Granite Falls.

The summertime party is held from 5 to 8 p.m. on the initially Thursday of the thirty day period by means of September, on the river walk together the Minnesota River in downtown Granite Falls.

Artists, crafters and makers of handmade jams, jellies and baked items will have their work for sale at the Makers Current market.

“It’s just much more appealing when it’s handmade,” explained Mary Gillespie, a volunteer with the Granite Space Arts Council that is web hosting the event.

A different band performs every single month on the river stroll and totally free artwork lessons will be taught.
