Shape Castles in Paint, Chalk and Oil Pastel Inspired by Paul Klee and Mary Blair

Lately I shared that my learners had been carrying out Condition Stations (or centers) in the artwork room. I did this immediately after the good results of equally our Dot Day and Line Examine stations. I am loving the exploration the kids are equipped to do and the youngsters are loving it…for the very same motives. Not to point out, it can be just Pleasurable to try out a full bunch of new ways to develop in just a few art classes. Here is a glimpse at our Form Stations:

Online video | Hartford teen wins People’s Preference Award at 2021 MOWA Artwork & Chalk Fest
August 23, 2021 – West Bend, WI – The Museum of Wisconsin Art’s 2021 Artwork & Chalk Fest People’s Preference Winner was Kaylee Goodman of Hartford.

Goodman, 17, chalked a portrait of Amelia Earhart.

Kaylee Goodman is a person very hot mess, but in a superior way. The smiley teenager is a creating her mark as a budding chalk artist.

Armed with a scenario of comfortable pastels and excellent fluorescent sticks of chalk, Kaylee sits down on her pallet of difficult concrete and will get shed in the zone.

This is not school-garden scribbling, but a splash of magic that pours from the stained fingertips of a 17 year old.

“If she’s late for supper we ordinarily locate her in the driveway,” explained mom Sandi.
