The Norwalk Art Area is delighted to open its latest exhibition on Thursday, July 22, 2021, “A Dialogue in Designs, Jahmane and Adger Cowans.”

Korry Fellows

The Norwalk Art Space’s Korry fellows were selected next a really aggressive approach in get to activate our house and fill our walls with fantastic community art. Sculpture Back garden Ongoing Exhibition

Our sculpture backyard, curated by Yvonne Shortt, is supposed to be a dynamic url involving The Norwalk Art Place museum and the adjoining group. The yard aims to encourage conversation and conversation in an inventive, welcoming environment.

We have a single long-lasting sculpture and three rotating sculptures which will transform each individual two decades.  There will be general public programming associated with every piece and all-around general public artwork in normal, as well as educational systems presenting arms-on learning.  The sculptures exhibited for our opening yr contain:

About The Norwalk Artwork Space, ADK Household, and our Founder

The Norwalk Artwork Area was launched and created by Alexandra Davern Korry (1959-2020), a trailblazing M&A lawyer, educator, civil legal rights advocate, and philanthropist.

Alexandra’s objectives in creating and funding The Norwalk Artwork Area ended up to improve opportunities and equity in the neighborhood arts local community by promoting  nearby artists, giving absolutely free instructional chances to underserved learners, and supplying the general public a lovely, welcoming room to appreciate artwork and music.
