On Tuesday early morning June 29, 2021 the environment dropped a shimmering mild. Constance (Connie) Manchester of Lewisburg WV died peacefully in her slumber beside her partner, John, at their home following a brave, 6-month wrestle with breast and spinal cancer.

Born March 27, 1944 in Lima, Ohio, Connie was the daughter of the late Catherine Ferguson Palmer and Lester Eugene Palmer. In addition to her dad and mom she was preceded in loss of life by her son Nathan Palmer Manchester.

Connie grew up in Vandalia, Ohio, graduated from Earlham University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1966 and gained her Master’s Degree in Occupational Remedy from Columbia University in 1973.

She and John fulfilled in Morgantown, WV. They ended up married August 4, 1979 and moved to Greenbrier County WV in July 1982 wherever she served John establish their dwelling in Renick. She labored with little ones with disabilities as an OT for the Braxton, Preston, Greenbrier and Monroe County school methods, worked several decades for the Seneca Psychological Well being Early Intervention Birth to A few Application, and labored for Property Treatment Furthermore as an OT from 1990-2010 when she retired.

From an early age she cherished pictures. She was a sixteen yr member of Greenbrier Valley Learn Gardeners the place she was the unofficial photographer.
